About the Role

Hanover Scotland are excited to be recruiting for a Team Leader within our Linkwood View development in Elgin.

We are looking for someone to lead a team of dedicated Home Support Workers to help make a difference to people's lives. If this sounds like you then we would love to hear from you!

As a Team Leader, you shall provide effective support to the Housing with Care Manager, supporting with the smooth running of our development, including management of care packages and landlord responsibilities.

In this role, you will contribute to supporting, developing, and supervising a team to drive positive outcomes for customers. You will plan and implement a robust rota system, ensuring that the service is sufficiently covered, and that medication is handled appropriately.

Customer reviews will be well-organised and take place in line with regulatory standards with the full input of relevant professionals and family members. You will help to foster an environment that is based on respect and confidentiality and where customer independence is fully promoted.

About You

  • Genuine passion for providing high quality support services.
  • Ideally, possess demonstrable experience within a care setting.
  • Demonstrable ability to undertake care practice in accordance with social care regulations.
  • Be able to relate to people with empathy and recognise their right of choice and independence.
  • Be able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
  • Ideally, hold an SVQ3 or above and be willing to work towards an SVQ3 and PDA in supervision.
  • Due to the nature of the role a valid UK driving licence and access to a car is required, as there will be times where you will be expected to travel between developments in order to meet the needs of the service.
  • A full and satisfactory PVG check is required prior to starting.
