About the Role

As the Repairs & Voids Coordinator, you’ll oversee the day-to-day management of reactive repairs and voids, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. You'll also monitor key performance indicators, develop your team, and play a pivotal role in continuous service improvement.


Main Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of Hanover’s strategic Asset Management objectives.

  • Provide a proactive and efficient service for reactive repairs and voids, ensuring service targets and customer expectations are consistently met.

  • Oversee and monitor processes to reduce variations and maintain robust budget control, including accurate recording of works and seeking technical advice where necessary.

  • Maintain up-to-date data and produce KPI reports; work collaboratively to identify and implement improvements.

  • Analyse customer feedback to identify opportunities for service enhancement.

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Repairs Team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services aligned with future organisational needs.

  • Monitor contractor performance and address any issues in partnership with the Repairs and Customer Safety Manager.

  • Coordinate with colleagues to meet void turnaround targets.

  • Manage complex repair or void jobs and escalate high-value or technically demanding work appropriately.

  • Handle complaints with professionalism, driving improvements to reduce future issues.

  • Assist with budget monitoring and promptly raise any concerns with your line manager.

  • Approve payments and contractor variations, ensuring compliance with financial procedures.

  • Manage recharge processes for repairs and voids, ensuring timely communication with all stakeholders.

  • Work with the Repairs and Customer Safety Manager to shape and enforce policies and procedures.

  • Conduct contractor checks to ensure compliance with onboarding, insurance, and health & safety standards.

  • Lead formal processes involving direct reports, including investigations, hearings, and appeals, ensuring fair and confidential handling aligned with best practice and HR policy.
