Remuneration:    £23,095 starting salary (during 6-month probation period)£24,250 salary (upon completion of successful probation)

About the Role

Our Varis Court development is a purpose-built development with innovative, high-quality services for older people including dementia and extra care facilities developed in partnership with the local authority. Our customers are older adults living with physical disability and learning disabilities and are supported to live as independently as they are able through individual housing support plans. 

We have a range of permanent posts with various contracts available over 7 days, including weekends and public holidays. Working hours can be discussed at interview.

About You 

  • The successful candidate must register with the SSSC as a support worker in Adult Social Services within the first 3-months of their role.
  • Awareness of person-centred care.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good team working. 
  • Hours are flexible covering early and late shifts 365 days per year. 
  • Some travel may be required for training and to provide essential cover.
  • The successful candidate will not be permitted to start without a full and satisfactory PVG check.
