Remuneration: £23,095 Starting Salary (during 6-month probation period) 

£24,250 Salary (upon completion of successful probation)

Our Linkwood View housing with care development provides enhanced support to vulnerable adults who live in their own homes with varying needs. This includes physical disability, learning disabilities and older adults who are supported to live as independently as they are able through individual housing support plans. 

The role of Waking Night Home Support Worker involves working 35 hours per week on a rota basis, 4 nights on 4 nights off (10pm-7am) which will include some weekends and public holidays. This role includes a 20% pay enhancement for night shift hours.    

You will be working as part of a team to ensure that services are delivered flexibly, innovatively and in a dignified, safe and stimulating way. Promoting independence and encouraging customers to exercise choice.

About You 

  • The successful candidate must register with the SSSC as a support worker in Adult Social Services within the first 3-months of their role.
  • Awareness of person-centred care.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good team working. 
  • Some travel may be required for training and to provide essential cover.
  • The successful candidate will not be permitted to start without a full and satisfactory PVG check.
